We provide the perfect balance between the use of staff, technology and resources to provide the best care for our customer; the patient. In today's rush of a world, there is a demand to do more with less. People have lesser time, and they need things done for lesser money and with greater efficiency. To fulfill these requirements, we bring to you lean thinking. Lean thinking can be used to eliminate excess from a process, using five steps: value, the value stream, the flow, the pull, and perfection. Each step in a process must add value to the process, and these then add up to become the value stream. The flow of the process eliminates the interruptions within a process to make it effective, and the pull performs the process as it has been ordered. The process is then tested upon until it reaches perfection.
Lean thinking is a methodology that can be used to eliminate the waste from any process within any type of business, and that is what we use with our clients in health care. We make our way to implementing a better program using the five core steps. What our team determines first, is how much each step within any process is adding to the system. Every juncture must have a purpose. If it does not offer any addition to the process, the step must be restructured. After the process has been examined, the team figures out the most efficient stream of the process. This involves the least number of steps that can be taken to produce an output that is most effective. After the interruptions and glitches in the process have been eliminated, the pull is activated to ensure that the process is carried out as it has been planned. The process is then examined again to ensure that it is at its most efficient form and that it regularly updates to keep up with the evolving industry.
